My interest in card-reading began in the late 1970’s. Encouraged by friends and family, I began 'fortunetelling' for fun and entertainment with a deck of ordinary playing cards.
Some years later (in the 80's) at a psychic fair, I came across an old deck of B.P. Grimaud's The Tarot of Marseilles (1969, France). The Marseilles Deck introduced me to the 22 Major Arcana, Archetypes and the fascinating theories of C. G. Jung. Tarot took on greater significance and meaning for me I discovered that tarot could be a trusted teacher, an insightful tool and wise guide.
My two favourite tarot decks are The Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot (R.W.S.) (US Games), illustrated by the artist-actress, Pamela Coleman-Smith, under the direction of Arthur Edward Waite of The Golden Dawn. Also, The Tarot of Marseilles, by B.P. Grimaud (France, 1969). The Tarot of Marseilles, is a beautifully illustrated and fascinating deck in which the essential themes and archetypes of the Major Arcana remain the same, but the embedded narratives are often quite different to The R.W.S. It is, however, The R.W.S. that I find inspires and prompts me intuitively and, therefore, has become my favourite deck for reading, teaching and journalling.

I have a Diploma of Tarot (U.K. Tarosophy) and became a Professional Member of the Tarot Guild of Australia, in 2006; and started reading and teaching tarot professionally - for individuals, groups, parties, corporate events, and fundraisers. From 2008 I started teaching tarot as both large and small, private and public courses, classes and workshops. I was the South Australian representative for The Tarot Guild of Australia and organised and presented monthly workshops for the T.G.A. in Adelaide, for 5 years. I did several guest appearances including being invited by a local radio station as a 'live' guest speaker and tarot reader.
From 2008 to 2019 I was an active committee member of the Tarot Guild of Australia (T.G.A.) and held positions in the organisation as Vice-President, Professional Membership Transition Coordinator and Team member, Editor and published columnist for the T.G.A.'s international journal - 'The Magician'' committee member and continued as the S.A. Representative and workshop coordinator. During this time in both 2013 and 2015, I developed and presented original workshops for the Tarot Guild of Australia's two highly acclaimed International Tarot Conferences, held in Melbourne; (organised and curated by the former T.G.A. President, Linda Henery). Additionally, for several years, I was a tarot phone psychic for an International (British) Psychic Phone Service.
I was the operational Director and Personnel and Training Manager of a private small-medium company for 24 years; and the owner-operator of several small businesses and professional practices. For 25 years, I was a business and supervisor management trainer, program coordinator and consultant to the tertiary, community development and vocational employment sectors, business and economic development boards and local and state government educational organisations and departments. My work included organising and providing personal and small business counselling, mentoring and advisory duties; and workplace trainer and assessor training, supervision and mentoring. My tertiary (TAFESA) learning materials and resources were published into student course books and guides.
Additionally, I was an educational community bridging program developer, trainer and mentor to justice and homeless youth, third generation unemployed persons and Indigenous groups.
My ability (and passion) are to communicate essential knowledge and teach valuable skills that support and assist the growth of the individual, group and community.
